Itinerary
Day 1 — Errachidia to Merzouga
We follow the Ziz Valley south from Errachidia, through its palm groves and fortified villages, to the dunes of Erg Chebbi — about an hour and a half on the road. In the late afternoon we ride camels into the dunes, reaching a nomad camp in time for sunset, dinner and a night under canvas.
Day 2 — Sunrise and return to Errachidia
We climb a dune for sunrise over the Sahara, then ride back to camp for breakfast before the drive back to Errachidia.
