Itinerary
Day 1 — Marrakech to Essaouira
A relaxed drive west through argan groves — look out for goats climbing the trees along the way — to Essaouira. We settle into the medina in the afternoon, with time to walk the ramparts as the light softens over the harbour.
Day 2 — Essaouira
A full day at your pace: the fishing port with its blue boats and gulls, the woodworkers' souk, the ramparts used in film and television, and the wide beach if you'd rather just sit by the water.
Day 3 — Essaouira to Marrakech
A last walk through the medina before we drive back to Marrakech, arriving in the early afternoon.
