FAQ

Common questions

Are your tours really private?

Yes. Every tour and day trip we run is for your group only — your own driver-guide and vehicle, with no strangers joining. The itinerary is built around you and can be changed as you go.

How much does a private Morocco tour cost?

It depends on the length of the trip, the time of year, the standard of accommodation and the size of your group — a private trip for two costs more per person than the same trip for four. Send us your dates and what you have in mind and we will send a detailed quote, usually within a few hours.

What is included in the price?

Private air-conditioned transport with a professional driver, licensed local guides for the city visits, accommodation in riads, hotels or a desert camp, daily breakfast, the camel trek in the Sahara, and airport transfers. International flights, travel insurance, most lunches and dinners, entrance fees and tips are not included. Every quote lists exactly what is covered.

How far in advance should I book?

The earlier the better for spring and autumn, which are the busiest seasons — a few months ahead is ideal. We can often arrange trips at shorter notice, so it is always worth asking.

Can the itinerary be changed?

Yes. The day-by-day plans on this site are starting points. We adjust the route, the pace and the stops to your interests before you travel, and your guide can change things on the day.

Which city should we fly into?

Marrakech and Fes both have international airports and work well as a starting point for a tour. Casablanca has the largest airport and is a good choice if you also want to see the Atlantic coast, and Tangier is a good option if you'd like to start in the north with Chefchaouen and the Rif. We can begin a tour from any of the four.

Is it safe to travel in Morocco?

Morocco is one of the safest countries in the region for visitors, and travelling with a local guide removes most of the friction. Our drivers and vehicles are licensed and insured, and we are reachable seven days a week while you are travelling.

What languages do your guides speak?

Our team speaks English, French, Spanish and Arabic, as well as Amazigh (Berber). Let us know your preferred language when you enquire.

See all questions or ask us — we reply seven days a week.

“Ready to experience Morocco?”

Tell us your dates. We'll reply with a plan and a price, usually within a few hours.
